.. what to blog about.
My weekend was completely uneventful. Nothing really worth blogging about and i am starting to lose my voice/ get sick. i have no idea why. But i am kinda excited about beign able to come into school late this week. im gonna wake up at like 9, be ready by 9:30 and go to wawa before i come to school! very exciting.
I didnt get to watch the oscars at all last night.. im just a little upset. i was at work though, and when i got home i had to clean my room.. so inbetween doing this ive been looking at the best dresses pictures. Anne hathaway looked gorgeous on the red carpet along with Natalie Portman!
Now im looking throuhg WORST dresses stars.. Gweneth Paltrow looked ridiculous in that gold thing she was wearing... she might as well have been put in an oven and heated up. Nicole Kidmans dress was awkward with the big pieces of fabric right at her hips (not very flattering)
Well i guess i found something to blog about..

Going to Philly
On Presidents Day my friend, Emily and I ventured by car to Philadelphia! First of all, the car was a terrible idea! Not only did i waste gas, AND pay twenty dollars for parking, the traffic in Philly was horendous! We should have known that from the get go but we ignored our better judgment and went for the crazy adventure anyway. That was my first time EVER driving myself to philly and i was pertrified. With my GPS handy i was prepared to battle the streets of philly with my bestie. once we found the lot we wanted to park in we got out to look for the Mutter Museum. Incase you didnt know what it is.. its a museum to showcase birthdefects, mutations, abnormalities, and diseases! its really cool to see it all. There was this wax figure of a lady that had a tumor on her face that looked like a horn!! it was crazy! Unfortunately the museum was really small so me and emily spent about an hour in there and it was too cold to walk the streets of Philly so we got back in the car and went to the cherry hill mall. People really dont know how to drive, and for me driving allday i was getting really pissed at people that were just plain stupid. SO EMily and I had a little dose of retail therapy to sooth our nerves!

Uhhmm...
I probably havent done an actual blog in SOOO long. i usually just go through and post pictures of what i would like to write about but dont. and todays topic is free blog soo i guess i couls do that.. Well i have to work today! it kinda sucks because its valentines day (not that i celebrate that) but i work at a resturant so its going to be PACKED with people and i might want to shooot my selff when i see all the couples goin all gaga over their significant other. EW. hahah. Well at least i get paid. Thats basically what gets me throught the day while im working. Im just a hostess but i cant stand some of the people that come to the restuarant. YOU WILL SIT WHERE I PUT YOU. Theres always those people that come in and just wan to choose their own seat. the reason we have a "please wait until hostess seats you" sign is so people DONT choose their own seats. We have to go in a particular order for the waitresses! Its ridiculous because as a hostess we have to listen to the customer and give them the seat of their choice when all i actually wanna do is slap a menu in their face! well as you can clearly see i lo0o0ove my job :)

Bad Decisions
Teenagers make bad decisions with or without their friends. Their friends presence means nothing. When a teen thinks about a bad decision their first thought it what will happen and their second is how their peers will view them afterwards. Peer pressure is everywhere and is unescapable. Now based on the study done in the article, the peers being present didnt place any effect on the subjects driving skills. Whether they sped through the yellow light and risked getting into a crash only had to do with age. The younger kids were the ones getting into more crashes! Dr. Steinberg states that the brain after puberty is the cause of young teens doing more stupid things with their friends. They are constantly more aware oof what others view them. Thats most important at that age. But as they grow with be more mature young adults they realize that how others see them means nothing. Its about being who you are!
