Abercrombie Pushups

What seven year old that you know wears a push up bra?! I sure as hell dont. A seven year old girl does NOT barely needs a regular bra let alone a push bra! And now i hear that A&F is making push up bikinis?! What the hell is coming to the world? There is no reason for a little girl to be thinking about how big her boobs look.. She should be messing around with her girl friends and just being a kid. When i was that young i definitely didnt care about what boys thought about me and my body and i wasnt trying to get their attention! Abercrombie has definitely lower their class by selling push up bikinis to young girls.

Chalk Illusions!

Jersey sexting law?

I would like to start out by saying that sexting is completely retarded and any person who doesnt see the future consequences of their actions might be brain dead. How does someone send a nude picture to some ones phone not thinking that they could possibly send it to others! STUPID STUPID STUPID.

Ive never sent "sexts" nor do i know of anyone who has done that. So, this law doesnt really effect me whatsoever. If they want to enact some new law that prohibits sending nude texts thats fine by me. Those people (mostly girls) should have to be at least reprimanded and shown the consequences of their actions! Ithink the programs will definitely scare the teens from sending sexts again.

On the other hand i think its up to the teens to deal with the consequences by themselves. Like, who cares if they send naughty photos, its their fault that it can get everywhere. LET them deal with it!

Who should decide when care is futile?

If the person is a VEGETABLE.. let them go! Families dont look at the logical sides of things. Theres no poin in keeping someone alive when theyre on LIFE SUPPORT. theyre not living on their own and cant function by themselves so why keep the fustration going. LET THE GO. In the Betancourt case, the family is so stuck on keeping Ruben around for no reason. When they look at the support he was being given (kidney dialysis, ventilator, and a feeding tube!) all they seem to see is their family members body and want them to stay there! Its stupid to want you family member to sit there.. on the other hand hes BRAINDEAD and he doesnt know whats going on so if the family wants to keep the care going its on them. I do kinda think the hospital should let the family decide whether to keep treatment going or not. I still think the family should move on and let him go but ultimately the decision should rest in the families hands. thats pretty much all i can say.. FAMILY; MOVE ON.. hospital; do your job. :)

I Don't Know..

.. what to blog about.

My weekend was completely uneventful. Nothing really worth blogging about and i am starting to lose my voice/ get sick. i have no idea why. But i am kinda excited about beign able to come into school late this week. im gonna wake up at like 9, be ready by 9:30 and go to wawa before i come to school! very exciting.

I didnt get to watch the oscars at all last night.. im just a little upset. i was at work though, and when i got home i had to clean my room.. so inbetween doing this ive been looking at the best dresses pictures. Anne hathaway looked gorgeous on the red carpet along with Natalie Portman!

Now im looking throuhg WORST dresses stars.. Gweneth Paltrow looked ridiculous in that gold thing she was wearing... she might as well have been put in an oven and heated up. Nicole Kidmans dress was awkward with the big pieces of fabric right at her hips (not very flattering)

Well i guess i found something to blog about..

Going to Philly

On Presidents Day my friend, Emily and I ventured by car to Philadelphia! First of all, the car was a terrible idea! Not only did i waste gas, AND pay twenty dollars for parking, the traffic in Philly was horendous! We should have known that from the get go but we ignored our better judgment and went for the crazy adventure anyway. That was my first time EVER driving myself to philly and i was pertrified. With my GPS handy i was prepared to battle the streets of philly with my bestie. once we found the lot we wanted to park in we got out to look for the Mutter Museum. Incase you didnt know what it is.. its a museum to showcase birthdefects, mutations, abnormalities, and diseases! its really cool to see it all. There was this wax figure of a lady that had a tumor on her face that looked like a horn!! it was crazy! Unfortunately the museum was really small so me and emily spent about an hour in there and it was too cold to walk the streets of Philly so we got back in the car and went to the cherry hill mall. People really dont know how to drive, and for me driving allday i was getting really pissed at people that were just plain stupid. SO EMily and I had a little dose of retail therapy to sooth our nerves!

Uhhmm...

I probably havent done an actual blog in SOOO long. i usually just go through and post pictures of what i would like to write about but dont. and todays topic is free blog soo i guess i couls do that.. Well i have to work today! it kinda sucks because its valentines day (not that i celebrate that) but i work at a resturant so its going to be PACKED with people and i might want to shooot my selff when i see all the couples goin all gaga over their significant other. EW. hahah. Well at least i get paid. Thats basically what gets me throught the day while im working. Im just a hostess but i cant stand some of the people that come to the restuarant. YOU WILL SIT WHERE I PUT YOU. Theres always those people that come in and just wan to choose their own seat. the reason we have a "please wait until hostess seats you" sign is so people DONT choose their own seats. We have to go in a particular order for the waitresses! Its ridiculous because as a hostess we have to listen to the customer and give them the seat of their choice when all i actually wanna do is slap a menu in their face! well as you can clearly see i lo0o0ove my job :)

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Bad Decisions

Teenagers make bad decisions with or without their friends. Their friends presence means nothing. When a teen thinks about a bad decision their first thought it what will happen and their second is how their peers will view them afterwards. Peer pressure is everywhere and is unescapable. Now based on the study done in the article, the peers being present didnt place any effect on the subjects driving skills. Whether they sped through the yellow light and risked getting into a crash only had to do with age. The younger kids were the ones getting into more crashes! Dr. Steinberg states that the brain after puberty is the cause of young teens doing more stupid things with their friends. They are constantly more aware oof what others view them. Thats most important at that age. But as they grow with be more mature young adults they realize that how others see them means nothing. Its about being who you are!

Is your computer making you stupid? Yes.

Zimmerman is correct in saying that the digital age has taken over our generation. At the beginning of this school year my parents blocked facebook from me because they knew i go on it NON-STOP. My grades for the first marking period were AWESOME; all As and one B. So that was good. Then my friend told me a way around the proxy block on my computer so i could get on facebook at home. That day was probably the happiest day in my senior year! hahaa. (then i obviously got my acceptance letter to COASTAL CAROLINA) So facebook was finally available to me and my grades began to decline dramatically because all i was doing was FACEBOOK. At this point its really hard to go on in my day without checking everyso often. If im doing homework on the computer it probably takes me twice as long because im multitasking between that and facebook. Facebook = Life for pretty much every teenager in America. To a certain extent the computer makes us stupid. I get the whole multitasking thing Zimmerman brought up and that comprehension of important content is lost when on the computer and having the urge to do other things. BUT i dont really think that we are stupid because of it. REading an article online is pretty easy to do. Im not really distracted by other things when reading an article.
